Sue is a qualified saddle fitter, registered with The Society of Master Saddlers. We sell Ideal, "Wow", Kieffer, Barnsby, Jeffries, Wintec, Bates, The Saddle Company, and Thorowgood (T4/T6), and Kent & Masters saddles.
We are happy to check the fitting of your own saddle, subject to the Society of Master Saddlers' code of conduct (see "information sheet" below). We will normally refer you back to your original saddle fitter if your saddle was fitted within the last six months.

We stock anthelmintec products for horses, dogs and cats. We also stock "Frontline" flea & tick treatments for dogs and cats.
Worming advice: we are happy to provide worming advice to our customers, including the free issue of worming programmes appropriate to your horse’s situation. We also operate a free reminder service. You will receive a discount voucher with your reminder, to use when you make your next purchase of wormers. We also stock the Westgate Laboratories' worm count kits at £9.55 each. Wormers are only available on Saturdays. If you are making a special trip to buy wormers, please phone ahead to check availability. We can sell worming products by telephone for collection at a later date (or can be posted).

IF YOU PAY WHEN DROPPING THE RUGS OFF, AND BRING YOUR RUGS IN YOUR OWN BAGS (bin bags are ideal), we will reduce the price to £10 and £5 respectively.
Repairs are costed individually - payment when rugs are collected.
We are happy to issue quotes prior to work being started, and recommend that quotes are requested in cases where the repair may not be economical.
Please bring your rugs individually bagged, with the front buckles accessible. (Numbered tags will be attached to the front buckle to ensure identification throughout the washing process)
Please note that rugs must be clean before any repairs will be attempted.
Please collect your rugs as soon as it is reasonably convenient for you - we have very limited space for storage, and at busy times of the year, we struggle to find enough space to keep rugs for longer periods.
If rugs are not collected within a reasonable period of time after we have notified you that they are ready, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee.

We can offer "tack tagging" for saddles - this involves inserting a tiny micro-chip (similar to that used in animals) which allocates a unique number to each saddle. This is registered with a central database to allow traceability of recovered saddles. The saddle is also marked with a non removable sticker (normally in the gullet) to hopefully deter thieves.
Did you know that, if a stolen goods are recovered, but the police cannot identify to whom they belong, they have no alternative but to return the stolen goods to the thief! Don't let this happen. Tack tagging is £19.95 for the first saddle, and £9.95 for each subsequent saddle tagged at the same time.
We can also postcode leather saddles by stamping - please call the shop and arrange an appointment when Sue is on duty. The kit is kept on the saddle fitting van, so tack marking can be done when visiting yards - just ask! A donation to one of our appointed charities would be appreciated.
