Sponsored ride in aid of East Anglian Air Ambulance and BHS Bedfordshire

A fantastic opportunity to ride in the lovely private grounds of Southill Park Estate, the home of the Whitbread family.  Choice of 10 or 15 mile routes over headlands, tracks and parkland - very limited roadwork and some optional show jumps.

Entries are limited to 150 and will close on Monday 20th September unless full before that date.  Entry fee is £15 with a minimum sponsorship requirement of £10.

There are fantastic prizes on offer to those who raise the most sponsorship money - such as a luxury range rover for a weekend, tickets to Burghley 2011 and lessons with Beverley Brightman or Nick Turner.  See the schedule for more details.

2010 is the Air Ambulance's 10th anniversary and we hope you will join us in supporting this invaluable service to those who get injured in places not accessible by road - notably equestrians!    The funds raised for the BHS will go towards 'pony days' for disadvantaged local children, typically those in care or foster homes.

Rosettes for all,  paramedics in attendance, vet and farrier on call, refreshments available, top equestrian photographer (pictures will be available via internet after the event).

Schedule now available - download here.

Charity Sponsored Fun HorseRide 2010

In and around the beautiful parklands of

HATFIELD HOUSE

The HorseRide raises money for Riding for the Disabled, The Isabel Hospice and other local Rotary charities. By popular request, we are organising it again this year; it is sure to be a fun day for all and you are invited! If you have previously taken part in our HorseRides, we would welcome your support again at this year’s event.

As in past years, the HorseRide will take place in the beautiful parkland of Hatfield House and include additional well-placed jumps (which are, of course, optional). The day is there to enjoy, and a second circuit of the 8-mile course is available if you want a longer ride.

There will be refreshments and a leading Event Photographer to take photographs of your Ride, should you wish to purchase a memento.

Riders who complete the eight-mile course will receive a rosette. There are medals for all those who achieve exceptional sponsorship - over £50 for Juniors (under 16)  and over £75 for Seniors - and Best Sponsorship Trophies for each age group.

We ask for a  minimum of £15 Sponsorship per rider, payable on the day.

An Entry Form and a copy of the Rules and Conditions are attached and we would appreciate it if you would tell your friends about the HorseRide. Please note that if you have an e-mail address, we can reduce our expenses if you tell us it on your Entry Form!

The Entry Fee for the event is £12 if booked in advance, and £15 on the day, BUT, book 5 or more Riders at one go and entry is just £10 a Rider! To do this, just copy the Entry Form or attach a list of your companions to the Entry Form.

We invite you to the 2010 HorseRide – starting at any time between 10.00 am and 12.30pm – and look forward to seeing you on the day.
